The Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute announces the hiring of hematologist/oncologist Dr. Pallvi Popli, who begins seeing patients in facilities in Hartford and Willimantic this month.

Dr. Popli comes to Hartford HealthCare from fellowship training at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers University, where her focus was on hematology and oncology. Her areas of interest are lung cancer, breast cancer, benign hematology and colorectal cancer. In 2019, she participated in Rutgers’ global oncology program, traveling to Botswana for a month-long immersion research project that will yield a quick-reference cancer pathways tool for public institutions.

Dr. Popli is accepting new patients at 85 Retreat Ave., Hartford, 860.249.6291; and 5 Founders St., second floor, Suite 202, Willimantic, 860.456.5330.
