Dr. Andre Ghantous, MD

Cardiovascular services at The Hospital of Central Connecticut (HOCC) and MidState Medical Center now has a new clinical leader who is accepting new patients.

Andre Ghantous, MD, recently named chief of cardiology at MidState and HOCC, will care for patients through the Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute.

The Institute offers state-of-the-art cardiovascular care, from office consultation to diagnostic testing and advanced surgeries.

Dr. Ghantous, who is fluent in English and French, is board certified in:

  • cardiovascular disease
  • interventional cardiology
  • echocardiography
  • nuclear cardiology

He earned his medical degree from Lebanese University in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his residency and fellowship at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven.
