Representing healthcare workers from throughout the region who were recognized during opening ceremonies at the Norwich Sea Unicorns first home game of the season at Dodd Stadium, Amanda Lester, RN, Regional Infection Control Coordinator for Hartford HealthCare’s East Region, was one of two people along with Norwich Mayor Peter Nystrom who got to throw out the first pitch of the game. And she threw a strike!
