The Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute in Torrington has opened a third location at the new Health Center in Winsted at 80 South Main Street, Suite 202.

Cardiologists Carrie Wolfberg and Joseph Abreu will be holding office hours for new and existing patients on Fridays in the specialty services suite 202.

The Heart & Vascular Institute in Northwest Connecticut also has a Specialty Care office at 76 Watertown Road in Thomaston, in addition to its main location at 1215 New Litchfield St., Torrington. The practice features board-certified cardiologists provide the coordinated, evidence-based care that make them a national leader in heart disease prevention, treatment, surgery and research.

Hartford HealthCare’s new healthcare center opened in January at the corner of routes 8 and 44 in Winsted. The nearly 30,000-square-foot facility features an Emergency Department with LIFESTAR helipad, CT Scanner, mammography, occupational and physical therapy, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab Services, and the offices of Hartford HealthCare Medical Group Primary Care providers. New specialty care services and specialists in the fields of Podiatry, Cardiology, General Surgery, GI, and OB/GYN are also offered.
