The Ayer Neuroscience Institute has added a new location in Vernon, led Dr. Patrick Senatus, a leading minimally invasive neurosurgeon.
Located in the Hartford HealthCare Family Health Center on 35 Talcottville Road in Vernon, the new location offers consultations, surgery and will add injection therapy in the near future. The site is conveniently located with ample parking in front of the building and in a facility with numerous other services, including the neuroscience institute’s movement disorders center, which adds to the convenience for patients.
Dr. Senatus manages patients with acute pain and degenerative disorders of the neck and back through the most advanced minimally invasive neurosurgical and spinal procedures. He will soon offer deep brain stimulation (DBS), surgical procedure used to treat a variety of disabling neurological symptoms—most commonly those associated with Parkinson’s disease, such as tremor, rigidity, stiffness, slowed movement, and walking problems.
