From experienced staff to the latest technology, The Hospital of Central Connecticut is ready to provide top-notch care to patients with complex vascular problems.

“The level of expertise on our team is the best it can be,” said vascular surgeon Dr. Robert Napoletano, “Everyone has a great deal of experience in these procedures.”

Vascular procedures  – such as angiograms and catheterizations – often involve imaging. That’s why The Hospital of Central Connecticut recently installed best-in-class technology in what it calls the “hybrid” room, where both imaging and procedures can take place seamlessly.

“The hybrid procedure room is very specialized, and allows us to use the state-of-the-art imaging techniques as well as state-of-the-art operating techniques in one setting,” said Dr. Napoletano. “It not only limits the number of surgeries (the patient needs to have), but allows the patient to recover faster, and also get back on their feet very early.”

Most important, the doctors and staff here constitute an experienced, cohesive team focused on a singular vision for your vascular health: excellent patient outcomes.

“Most of us techs have been here for 25-plus years,” said X-ray technologist Kristi Beliveau “We pretty much know each other pretty well. We are a very close team.”

It’s a team you want on your side in the event you need a vascular procedure.
