He’s a two-time Major League Baseball All-Star pitcher with a lifelong passion for both sports and healthy living.

Now Rob Dibble hosts the afternoon drive sports talk show on 97.9 ESPN in Hartford. While his show focuses mainly on current events in sports, Dibble’s own  concern for the health of others — especially young people hoping for a career as an athlete — comes through when he broadcasts live from the Hartford HealthCare Bone & Joint Institute at Hartford Hospital last week of every month.

For example, Dibble believes that advances in orthopedics available today at the Hartford HealthCare Bone & Joint Institute at Hartford Hospital would have helped him have a longer career in professional sports.
