The 26th Annual Black & Red Gala held Saturday at The Bushnell in Hartford helped to raise money and awareness for the Hartford HealthCare Neuroscience Institute at Hartford Hospital.

The event also highlighted stroke awareness. Stroke is the fifth-leading cause of death in the United States. Hartford HealthCare, has one of 101 hospitals nationwide that qualifies as a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
