Like every part of the body, the eyes are affected by the aging process, some more than others. From vision challenges, including the loss of peripheral vision, to more complex problems like glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts, the eyes will require added attention as you get older.
To help understand the effect of time on your eyes, Hartford HealthCare is hosting a free talk and question-and-answer session with Dr. Jeremy Hwang entitled “Aging and Your Eyes.” The talk is planned for Thursday, March 5, from 5-6:30 pm, at the Hartford Hospital Family Health Center’s community room, 100 Hazard Ave., Enfield.
