Windham Hospital’s plans for increasing orthopedic surgery options for patients took a big step forward on Nov. 8 as surgeon Kevin Reagan of the Center for Bone and Joint Care Orthopedic Associates of Windham County performed his first procedures at the hospital.

Dr. Reagan and surgeons Biren Chokshi, Daniel George and Scott Green (doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) from the practice joined the Windham medical staff last month. They’ll begin offering MAKOplasty robotic hip replacement and knee resurfacing in early 2017 at the hospital.

“Adding these gifted surgeons to our orthopedic surgery team is great news for patients,” said East Region President Bimal Patel. “It will mean more access to surgery close to home and also will bring state-of-the-art robotic technology to our community.”
