Cedar Mountains Common
Kelly was serving drinks and appetizers at a party for residents and families. She saw a resident cough and leave the room. She followed the resident and found her choking on food. Kelly called a nurse, who performed the abdominal thrust and dislodged the food. The resident said she was embarrassed and left the party to avoid drawing attention to herself. Fortunately, Kelly noticed what was happening, got help and kept the resident safe.
