The Hospital of Central Connecticut (HOCC) launched a major marketing campaign designed to remind area residents that they have access to the region’s best doctors and most sophisticated medical care right in their backyard.

Featuring documentary-style vignettes that give viewers an inside look at some of the hospital’s highest-stakes areas of expertise; the campaign kicks off with an inside look of the emergency department, one of the busiest in Connecticut. Watch as real doctors and skilled clinicians provide patients with the most advanced, coordinated and compassionate care.

“This is a very exciting time for us as we re-introduce HOCC into our community,” said Gary Havican, president of The Hospital of Central Connecticut. “Our physicians are leaders in their field, offering our patients exceptional care close to home. This campaign will allow us to highlight the outstanding services we provide.”

With television commercials and advertising in print, radio, digital, billboard, and social media formats, the campaign will spotlight five areas of clinical expertise – emergency care, urology, cancer, obstetrics and gynecology, and vascular surgery. In each, HOCC’s top-ranked doctors demonstrate that while they are leaders in their fields, they are dedicated to treating patients close to home.

Michelle McDade, associate chief of emergency services at HOCC, candidly shared during the filming of the television commercial, “We like our jobs and we like each other, and I think that that care for one another flows over to our patients. This place is special and we are really proud that we work here.”
