AVON—Dr. Samuel M. Silverman, medical director of addiction services at Rushford who sees patients at Rushford’s Avon facility, was recently named to Hartford Magazine’s Best Doctors list for 2017.

Dr. Silverman, board-certified in psychiatry and addiction psychiatry, is accepting new patients at 35 Tower Lane in Avon.
Rushford at Avon offers varying levels of treatment , including medication-assisted treatment for opioid or alcohol addiction, that adapt to patients therapeutic needs, with services that range from once-a-week outpatient therapy to intensive outpatient therapy.
